Job Description:
  • Consults with patients to resolve eyewear problems or concerns.
  • Fitting contact lenses and giving advice on their care and use.
  • Must be wroking towards ABO/NCLE Certification.
  • Newly created full time position to support our continued growth in our Ophthalmology Department!
  • Liaising with sales representatives from vision care product suppliers.
  • Checking lenses on delivery to ensure that they meet the required specifications.
  • Advising patients when adjustments or repairs to spectacles are needed.
  • Optician Requirements: Previous experience as a practicing Optician.
  • Must have outstanding sales skills and demonstrated record.
  • Taking frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning.
  • Advise and assist patients with fram/lens selection.
